Is your brand doing its job? A ten-minute check
Your brand is how people remember you. This quick check shows whether yours is working as hard as you are, and where a few small fixes would make the biggest difference.
Can people recognise you?
Shrink your logo: Pop it on your phone at the size of a profile picture. Can you still read it and tell it is you?
Stick to a short palette: Two or three main colours and one accent is plenty. Write down the exact codes so everyone uses the same ones.
Limit your fonts: One for headings and one for everything else. More than that and things start to feel messy.
Do you sound like you?
Describe yourself in one line: If you cannot say what you do in one friendly sentence, your customers cannot repeat it either.
Pick three tone words: Warm, direct, playful? Keep them handy, and check your posts, emails and website against them.
Use the same bio everywhere: Instagram, LinkedIn, Google and your website should all say the same thing.
Does it all match up?
Line up your channels: Open your website, social profiles and email signature side by side. Same logo, same colours, same feel?
Make templates: Social posts, quotes and proposals built from set templates look consistent and take far less time.
Check the printed bits: Business cards, flyers and signage should look like they belong with everything else.
Want a second pair of eyes on this? Say hello and we will take a look, no strings attached.
